" Players who are chat or ranked restricted or currently banned from play cannot earn or unlock chests through Champion Mastery. Once they’ve reformed, they’ll be eligible for rewards again." That's what is said on the Hextech Crafting Launch page...

Makes sense to me.

You may need a clear record. Gotta wait three months, I bet.

What if you were in a lower priority queue? Do you still get punished? Also what was your punishment?

You can still get chests afaik - I think that is just for keys? Then you can open them in 3 months if you reform .. just gotta grind the keys. Hoping this is how it is..

i had received a 14 day ban around February 6-7th and the ban was given without warning! it was completely un justified because i was yelling at players who were intentionally feeding but the system cant tell between whats being said and whats being done by a players actions ina match. Mind you im playing in bronze elo so you all know what bronze has to offer.. this was another issue i had and i tried to re invoke the ban and explain what was really going on in those matches i got reported from but i found no justice there :/ Garen

I agree on how riot is treating players like we are convicted felons just because we had a couple of games of chat restriction locks us out of the hextech system. Upon the release of the system it should've been based on current standings like a soft reset. If you was currently on a ban or restriction at the launch day then yeah you're screwed for a while. But for players that had a 1 time or 2 time offense that was several months ago shouldn't be punished, we've already been punished by restrictions, you are punishing us twice, when we've already served our sentence for the first crime.

They said that was going to be part of the system from the beginning. It is an incentive to behave. At some point, you will become eligible again(my best guess is 3 months of no punishments).
