I have a really big problem with the behavior right now

Toxicity is at an all time high believe it or not. Why? Because the community accepts it. You die one time in lane and 4 people spam 2+ "?"s on your dead body. How is that not toxic? You defend yourself and you are "being toxic by causing someone else to continue being toxic". Like what? That's like standing up to the bully in high school and getting detention for bullying them.

This isn't even a low elo experience watch the pros when they stream solo's and duo's. It still happens in diamond/master/challenger. The mere fact that even some of the streamers get pretty toxic at times not going to point out names other than Dunkey (I know this is old news, but I would prefer not to point out current players as I believe that is against boards guidelines) who took over 3 years and an automated system to finally ban for how toxic he was regardless of whether or not it was funny in hindsight and half the time he didn't mean any of it but in the moment it is incredibly toxic. Don't get me wrong I enjoy Dunkey's content, but it doesn't change the fact that any variation of that behavior is toxic.

And the not so recent trend of ? spamming is getting to the point where temp bans need to be given out and for the specific reason of being toxic with pings and chat. I understand doing it as a funny thing, but when most of the player base is toxic it makes it really hard to take it as a joke.

No doubt that ping spamming is negative/toxic, which is why they have mute buttons for it (and emotes too). It's hard to tell if someone's ever punished specifically for ping spamming (there's not really a report feature for it, there's no posts from folks on the boards complaining about their bans). If you do report it, I'd mark "Harassment" with a note at the bottom about the ping spamming.

If you're contributing to toxicity, then you're stooping down to the level of whoever was bothering you. That doesn't help anything, and the rest of your team now has to deal with 2 toxic teammates.
