Does reporting even work anymore?

I've not gotten a message about a successful report in ages. Probably 3-6 months at the minimum. What gives? I've played with (And reported) some truly toxic people. Including a lb that just decided to give us the win after not winning her lane, Peshaaw, it's just an alt anyway!! (what a jerk) And surely they'd be hit with something, especially after admitting it. But I doubt things actually happen anymore to accommodate the new people flooding into the game. Wouldn't want to scare off our bad tempered audience now would we? This is how it feels like you have to do to get a response nowadays...
