Can we please hold players to some standards in ranked, especially at higher ratings?

As a way to address the problem of boosting in ranked. The game is basically unplayable at Diamond V right now, especially nearing the end of the season.

The problem is so bad that these players get boosted and then don't drop, because they encounter other boosted players often enough to balance their win rate out. It's also impossible to prove that these players are boosted, even though they're consistently playing poorly and have odd champion patterns (i.e. high win rates with roles they no longer play).

Something needs to be done to deal with this. Diamond V has reached a point where the skill discrepancy is so bad that I don't even want to play anymore.

See this game, in particular.

Look at the Vel'koz. It has no Sightstone at 30 minutes, but 66% win rate in ranked. It's history is full of matches with 2-4x deaths over kills + assists, and it no longer plays it's most played + highest win rate champions. In the case of it's most played champion, it doesn't even play that role. This player is very clearly boosted.

The same thing goes for this Jayce. It's playing extremely poorly in every aspect. This isn't tilting; it has no map awareness, it has no mechanical skills, and it has no decision making skills. Everything it's doing is at a Bronze level. It's screwing up it's gates, completely missing point blank shots, and screwing up his transformations constantly. If you look at it's match history, the only time it wins ranked games is with a 4-man pre-made.

I'd rather have toxic players that can play at a decent level in every game than deal with this bullshit.

I thought Diamond V was shitty in the first place, since no one tries anymore since they're already Diamond.

League ranked is losing it's credibility. It's a soon to be casual game.

Just had another case of this, where the enemy team realized that if the other four players on my team see their ADC alone, they'll all converge on it, no questions asked.

So they took advantage of this by sending their AD carry to another lane; my four team mates run towards him and he recalls before they reach him, then the other four take objectives. My team was ahead by 11 kills and three towers when the enemy team realized this, then they took down all three inhibitors + 5 towers using this 'strategy,' and finally ended the game.

My team mates fell for this four times. I tried to stop them on the first time, typed out that they weren't going to catch him, and spammed back pings. No response. They didn't even learn from the experience, and these are Diamond rated players.

This shouldn't fly. There's something really wrong with this entire scenario, and players like this have become the norm in almost every game, on one team or the other. This was one extreme case, where four of these players got put on the same team.
