KDA DOESNT MEAN MUCH TILL U R IN GOLD+!

You can feed and still do good damage and have good stats and contribute a lot to the team. It's like 0/12/0 yasuos getting shit on early and gets fed thrrough farming and 1v5s you after.

And new sup players:

  1. If you have exhaust USE IT PLZ. As a sup main that was forced into adc I get tilted when I see that I died just because they didnt exhaust the enemy.
  2. If you bring ignite that's fine but know that some champs have lesser kill pressure. Like cases like janna and soraka, exhaust is better because you are mainly a protect sup, not like those mage sups like zyra and malz or semi-mage sups like karma and lulu.
  3. Plz dont take cs unless your adc isnt there. You want your adc to farm up and get items to do damage, after all, that's literally the role of adc/bot laner that''s not sup. If you accidentally take some it's fine but like when you are intentionally using abillites so the adc cant get it when they could have you're just trying to set him behind and that happens dont blame them
  4. I won't force you to buy sighstone but at least ward using your trinket wtf?
  5. If your ap build is CLEARLY NOT WORKING, plz buy sup items.

Im tired of people talking about kd only, kda means more, you can be a wall like old maokai and be 1/6 but you're doing your job at least, you are tanking. Just fullfill your role as your champion and that''s the most important thing.

Just a FYI

Janna, Raka, Malz, Zyra, Karna, and Lulu are all mages lol. Janna, Raka, Karma, and Lulu are white mages (Enchantresses) and Zyra and Malz are black mages. Although Karma and Lulu can be used in the solo lanes as damagers, that damage usually falls off later on compared to actual black mages.

This probably belongs in Gameplay more than it does Player Behavior & Moderation.

This one happens to be one of my personal soap-boxes, being a long time support main. If the cs are coming into turret range at early levels, then many adcs actually need the assistance of the support to last hit them. Unfortunately, very few adcs actually understand that their supports are trying to help them. And many supports do not know how to do it properly. It only takes 1-2 autoattacks at the most to prep the wave, any more and the support can cause the adc to miss the entire wave. The same goes for during laning. Supports need to be careful with using abilities to try and not hit the minions. (Lux, I'm talking to you.) It can make it very difficult for the adcs to last hit properly, especially if the adc isn't that good at last hitting to begin with.

Something else that is a big pet peeve of mine... Unless the support knows exactly what it will do to the wave, they shouldn't be farming the waves even without the adc there. Especially at the lower ranks, the supports don't know how to properly freeze a wave, or when they should be freezing it, or pushing it to the turret. They will often end up farming the wave, but not fast enough to reset the wave completely, so that all they managed to do is have the wave pushed up to the enemy turret and they have to over-extend and leave themselves vulnerable. All the support should be doing is last hitting the cs that the adc is not there to last hit, and only clearing a wave if there is a danger of it damaging the turret.

Granted, these are just my opinions, and while it is advice I give to players who specifically ask for my help, it's not something I would sit there and tell other supports that they HAVE to do. For many supports, especially those who play the carry-supports, they actually can end up doing better than their adc if they sneak a few minions here and there. It's a matter of preference, as well as deciding what it best for the team. For me personally, that's usually going to be trying to get my adc farmed and fed.
