Honor Lock and Progression to Honor 2 Question

Hello,

Just got off a rather intense flaming that got me a deserved 10 game chat restriction. I worked the chat restriction off a couple of days ago, but my honor is still locked. I seem to frequently get multiple honors a game despite the lock, and i'm being much more positive than I was when I earned the restriction.

Does anyone have any idea how long it takes for honor to unlock and then how long it takes to get back to Honor 2 from Honor 1? Is there even enough time left to reasonably do that?

UPDATE: My honor unlocked on 3/26, which is just one day over a week and a total of around 100 games. Hopefully this post will help other people looking to unlock their honor.

If you stay positive and receive no valid reports, it will happen pretty quickly. There's no set formula because it will depend on how much you play.

Honor unlucks on how you behave afther the punishment. The better you behave the faster it unlocks. Last time i was chat restricted it only toke me 1 day to unlock it. And if you going to make it in time to honor lvl 2 comes all down on your own behavior. If you get valid reported but its not enough for a punishment if will slown your climb.

The last two times my honor was locked, it took 3 days to unlock.

Never upgraded from honor 2 after it was released. I get 2-3 honors every other game.

unlocking honor takes me about a week usually. right now im also climbing from h1 back to h2 i got the first checkpoint in less than 1 week, now its been almost 2 weeks without any progress :/

It took me exactly two weeks to get my honor unlocked. Coincidentally my girlfriend got an honor checkpoint the same exact time my honor unlocked... people and riot have said it has to do with games played but I feel it's time based as well, similar to the checkpoints.

Just play games without getting validly reported and within a couple weeks you should see an unlock. As long as you stay neutral or positive you can make it as high as honor 4 by the end of the season so dont sweat it. You can make it. Just dont chat anymore unless you absolutely need to and make sure it isnt flame.
