When did it become okay to call people autistic?

I have been called autistic four different times today. Reported three (i forgot to report one of them) and nobody was punished.

"Your report wasnt the last one that triggered the punishment" calling someone autistic should be an instant punishment, regardless of context.

Its not okay to call people autistic, nor is it funny, to make fun of very unfortunate people who have to live with a disorder that the 5-year olds on this game throw around like its absolutely nothing because they cant control their temper or think they're being funny and intimidating. Grow the fuck up.

I'd like to point out that just because you didn't get instant feedback doesn't mean the player wasn't punished. I'm not sure why it's so inconsistent, but as long as you reported it, the system will catch it. Keep doing what you're doing and mute / report them. if you got called autistic four times in one day you are doing something. i dont know how you are trolling and i dont care but people arent throwing it out there that much that it could happen to someone 4 times in a day randomly.

right and wrong are subjective, you people saying its wrong to call someone autistic don't know what you are talking about. instead of teaching people not to use certain words towards people you should teach the people who get offended by them to not let words have power over them, as someone with autism i think its sad you all have such severe lack in critical thinking skills and enforce this illogical way of thinking that certain words are "wrong"

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I don't see being called autistic an insult. it's like calling someone left handed. if you're wrong in calling someone that you just look dumb, if you're right then it's just a statement of fact. I do agree that if people are using it as a discriminatory platform, it becomes a fairly severe issue, but there's a difference in my eyes between "he's autistic, just play the game" and "he's autistic, and therefore useless"

tldr, calling people autistic is dumb but being offended by being called autistic is also dumb

Sorry for offending anyone here but autistic is the new, "%%%" insult of our generation. It's an insult and nothing more. Mute, report and hope they get banned. Send in a ticket if you feel upset when people do this.

About the same time that it was ok to randomly call people kids on the internet and treat it as a legitimate insult.

If you're going to complain about toxicity, don't follow it up with things like
