Like, in normals you obviously shouldn't purposely walk into the enemy's turret and fuckin die but tryharding is lame and i'll make fun of you if you do. if you want to tryhard go do ranked and have fun in normals....do things you normally wouldn't do like 1 v 5 the whole team.... it literally doesnt matter its a game and if you wanna be competitive babies about it go do it in ranked im sick of people's annoying mindset of 'winning is all that matters!!!!! i dont know how to have fun and video games r my entire life' like... get a gf or something lol

It's the mentality that because they themselves don't want to reach the homeostasis of caring enough to try to win the match, and not caring enough to go on full tilt when someone keeps tilting and being passive-aggressive enough to not group and try to win the game.
They believe that " RANKED IS FOR TRYHARDS, NORMALS IS TO TROLL AND HAVE FUNfdklajdskladjkldlajewojeaiodjwai ", being the main tell.
Except for that factor of that same mentality being even more prevalent in Ranked, and players telling others that if they're not going to play serious, to go back to Normal/ARAM/Customs.
It's morality focused -- when they want to win, this doesn't happen; When they're getting dumpstered, they say this to no end.

To really expound on that point, " being a try-hard" literally somehow has become to equivalent to players of "wanting to win", period.
Which any smart individual knows is wrong by base reasoning:

It's as negative as negative can get, because it's harmful to your life, limiting your choices by telling yourself and others what you can't, instead of thinking of what you can, or studying/learning long enough to** know** what you can and can't, and trusting them to know their shit, so you don't have to take anyone else's.
That's the base reason many players are too disinterested to try to win -- they don't see the point because they play League as a game.
The ones who do play League and draw attention to themselves because they stand out for playing League as a lifestyle -- and people who make or enjoy content drive the positive support that makes that happen.

It also doesn't mean the person doesn't want to win, it just means they're not going for the most seemingly optimal way of doing so.
There's been plenty of times where I've gone off-meta picks in normals and have had my own teammates/the other team go off on me like they just lost their virginity. The irony is that those who kept whining were usually the ones who kept feeding... all the while I still had to "carry them on my back". But alas, it's Normals for a reason.

This already shows they have a bad attitude and one can imagine they are also like this in real life. People with this attitude are a waste of bandwidth and oxygen to be honest and there is not a damn thing that any of us can do about them. We have leadership that has the power to do something but they won't because they are sans nuts. It gets worse every single day.

blkh11 votesI understand what you are saying. However, I believe that normal is to learn. That means trying new things before you try it in ranked. You may crash hard, but that is the point. I always want to win, even in ARAM. In normals you must allow for a more lax attitude. Hell, I have seen some pretty lax attitude in ranked too, such as a KAT that gets horrendously fed, and just starts jungling and nothing else while we lose because the opposing team is 5v4ing us and getting fed.
I know how it is irritating to just be lax at playing, but norms are norms and we must accept that sometimes you just have to let them play out.
I feel your pain though.
