why muting isnt a proper solution for toxicty

toxic players will realize they have been muted. and then proceed to trolling via ping spam, inting. passive aggressively griefing

players trying to climb. especially in low elo. will become accustomed to this type of behavior. and become toxic themselves. because they are forced to leave people off mute. and end up being verbally aggressive hoping they can say the right things to get someone to stop before negative chat escalates to trolling because at least if theyre just being toxic in chat they arent actively trying to lose

This is rarely the case. Most players that are toxic in chat do not escalate their behavior, and the problem is squelched when you mute them.

Agreed.

Although I'm going to keep on you and assume you didn't actually mute me if you say you do, or I'm going to yell at you through someone on the other team.

Mics would solve this. You can fight, get it over with and do whatever from there. Chat isn't clear and just escalates fights.

I don't think fights/arguments are a big deal anyway. Everyone has them and some personalities just don't mix.
