Surrendering needs to be reworked

Im getting annoyed with all the surrendering. Is there a legit reason not to play a game out unless there is a troll/ afk? (and no, the good ole "im not wasting my time" excuse is not a good one, learning/practicing how to play from behind is NEVER a waste of time).

My suggestion: After 2 or more people vote No to the surrender, the window disappears. You can surrender after ~~20 minutes~~ -> 25 minutes, - 5 minutes for each dced member of your team (so if you have 1 you can ff at 20 again, 2 afks 15, 3 afks 10, and if its only you vs the enemy team you can ff at 5.) You can attempt to surrender once every ~~3 minutes~~ -> 5 minutes -1 minute for each dced member of your team.

I wish there was an option to never surrender so I don't have see that box popping up every 2 minutes.

Except when there is ABSOLUTELY nothing to be learned from it. If your team is not capable of trying to turn a game around, there simply is no point. If they won't group to defend mid, you can't learn anything from it: Either dead if you try and defend turret alone, or not, and they take turret either way. If they completely dominate map control, you simply will not be able to do anything. If the other team is too fed for you to even try and make a play, the only thing learned is don't let it happen next time (which frequently, may not be your fault at all. Especially if you dominated bot lane, but who cares Top lane got fed as heck, or Morde bot can get kills with very little gold.)

And ultimately, it's no fun to play a losing game. Most people do not want to waste 10 more minutes in a game they know that will only be ended at the mercy of the enemy (and that's another thing: If you are going to win, don't waste time taunting/killing yourself on fountain. Just end the game.) vs trying another new game they may be able to win.

Huh. Interesting. Usually when I see threads complaining about the surrender vote system, it's complaints about how it requires a supermajority vote to pass.
