Why is everyone crying over mark now?
Is it cause your precious poke team can now be defeated with a little snowball?

It's a very nice addition that makes the game more fun for melee champions. Before if you got matched against a poke/sustain team it was so frustrating you wanted to afk 20 seconds into the game. Now a ton more champions are viable.
Simple rules of these boards: the complainers are usually more vocal (and the funnier thing is that this was something people were complaining about wanting. Now that those people have it, they've gone on to play more ARAM games and all the people who didn;t want it have now taken their place)
+1.
Now they can't poke melee champs while giving a hug to a turret.
The people complaining are the ARAM only accounts where they buy only poke mages to abuse the "random" part of it.
Because they focused their accounts on super ranged champions and now they cry because they can be reached. Whine Whine
"Don't make the yeti angry. You won't like him when he's angry!"

Yup. I bet dollars to donuts at least half of the complainers are aram specific accounts. And the other half are the normal accounts of the ones that own those accounts.
Admittedly it could use some balancing tweaks. Its up a bit too often. But for the most part people need to learn to play around it. Its like any new mechanic in a game.
no, it's because that poke that was so annoying before is now available to EVERYONE for no cost (it doesn't even have a decent cooldown). Mark actually made the whole thing feel worse than before because it is even more punishing for the immobile squishy champions (like mages)
Edit: I would be 100% fine with it if they at least made it slightly less hectic like a 40 second cooldown that gets reduced by half when you dash in, that way it isn't just a free poke spell but gets use for the intended purpose of gap closing and engaging, rather than giving everyone a 20 second cooldown uber long range poke ability.
I think its mostly the fact that its just kinda oppressive? in a sense. In that, he does true damage that scales to level, has nidalee range and has a rediculously low cooldown. Throw in warmogs and I have seen people, snowball in, use their abilities, walk away and then warmogs back to health, or build thornmails/mr and just run over the enemy team anytime they land a snowball.
Honestly it feels like we just made it a new form of poke that snowballs(as unintentional as this pun is) too hard. Full bruiser teams just feel almost impossible to deal with in the games I played.
I am glad that melee characters have an option now, but it feels way too consistent. There is no "Oh they are on cooldown" or "Oh its easy to dodge"(Half the time we didn''t notice the snowballs cause the map is the same color pattern making it hard to see.
I think that it is needed to a degree but needs to be tuned properly to not be as oppressive as a poke comp
Meanwhile poke/heal champion still dominate ARAM top win rate and melee are at the bottom.
Well personally, I find everything in ARAM to be really chaotic now. Especially with how quickly it comes up. Granted, it could just be something to get used to/ people calming the fuck down over time, but my last ARAM match my expression was generally: O_O
Remember kids, just because you hit the snowball, doesn't mean you need to take it.
It's all a matter of taste though. A lot of people like the extra chaos, other people don't.
I liked it before damn near everyone, poke teams included, had it on all 5 players. Instead of it being situational it seems to be the go to spell make makes ARAM a waiting game. Someone land a snowball on a good target? Go in. Miss or hit a bad target? Wait 30 seconds and try again.
This new playstyle is so fucking boring.
honestly, a majority of complainers are just angry that their op ranged picks can be beaten early game now.
I've done fine with poke team still. (No this isn't an ARAM account, nor would I make one.)
Doesn't mean anything about the balance of the ability. It's just too strong in it's current form.
Melee needed the help, I'll agree to that. But this really has changed the mode a lot.
All you people commenting are all so reasonable and i love it. Not seeing anyone crying about how their poke team lost to melee and thinking they should have won if ONLY there was no snowball. I've been playing aram so much for about 2 years now and this is an awesome addition. Yes i think that its sometimes unfair now that huge bruisers can just snowball their way in and F you up but I think its a great addition because, I no longer have to just sit under the turret and wait for our loss/surrender. Just give it a longer cooldown and shorter range and we're fine. Everyone has a chance at fighting back now and all the aram accounts and the so called "aram vets" think they're too hardcore to let something new in.
Yes. I say it is mainly that reason. Poke champions no longer have easy safety to abuse the enemy endlessly with ease.
They are crying cause all of their separate aram accounts don't work or cause it make alistar and sej really good idk.
because ARAM was so healthy when you had the enemy team that consisted of
and all they had to do was poke you down to win. This actually give the tanks or non mobile/non poke champs a chance in ARAM
It doesn't actually fix any problems, just passes them down the line. Sure less mobile melee's are useful now but now immobile ranged champs feel worthless because of how easy it is for people to get on top of them now.
The top post of the day (4/30) complaining about it is satire.
It has a bit too long range but I like it
