I really hope Ekko has a big lore
I really hope Ekko gets a long lore unlike all these champs that are barely getting 3-4 lines of lore because his seems like it would be really interesting.

Just like every champ not related to IoW, he will have a few badly spit out lines that dredge up more questions than answers.
Riot did in fact write a really big Lore for him.
Then they went back.
I actually kinda like the way they are making Lore now, in a Dark Souls kinda fashion, leaving open windows for speculation and theory on purpose, plus every new champ gets some kind of cinematic that tells/shows most of what they are, I like it when most of they story is shown by the characters looks and feel, like do you really need more about Kalista? An angry spirit of vengeance, ancient looking armor, green ghostly glow from the shadow Isles, speaks in a hive mind, does not allow betrayers to live, everything that you should know about her you do, and I love it, and so far Ekko looks to be in the same line Kid from the slums, obviously from Piltover, shady past, emotional, brave, and more to come from his abilities and solo lines, you don't need a text book to learn who the character is
He will, but will it be released with him is the main question. I hope they do!
Going back to Rek'Sai, Bard, Kalista and Azir, they got something released lore wise closer to their actual release, so a couple of weeks maybe for something like that.
Maybe he'll go back in time and reverse the retcon :3
Oh he will have lore and a dark mysterious past.

Nah, as usual we get a flashy cinematic that doesn't really explain anything and when he comes out it will be 3 sentences which create more questions than they answer.

On a related note do they actually pay people for lore? I just assumed whoever graphically designs the champions just writes a few lines about them rofl

I think there's a decent chance that he'll have an actual lore piece rather than the 2-3 sentence garbage rito has been giving new champions lately. He seems to have a more concrete background, what with the memorial and the origin of his time machine.
I wouldn't put any money on it though.
Too much of Ekkos past life and friends were hinted in the promo, of course they will touch upon that.
Funny how everyone forgets that so far Bard is the only champ who hadn't a bigger lore piece released.
Sure the long lores aren't biographies anymore,but still more than the few sentences that stand in the client.
They need to put links to the additional lore pieces they make into the client so when you look at the client's lore it won't feel like there is nothing.
You do know that they are in the process of overhauling pretty much everything about the lore, right? If they only give him a few lines, expect it to change eventually.
line predictions : coming from the zaunian slums ekko stole stuff from zilean and cuz his friend dieded he now smashing azz and taric still waiting for sum rework.
It'll probably only be on the main site where nobody looks, instead of in the voluminous amounts of space in the client.
Just like all of the other recent releases.
