Not raging or anything just wondering. I was 
and was 30 CS up and had FB over him. Yet once he hit 6 even After I dumped all my spells on him and he ALMOST died. He nuked me with two spells and got back to 50% HP. Is this just me not knowing how to counter him or is his kit too much?
Keep your eyes on his hologram the whole time. You must have been blind & shiet, and let his hologram step next to you and made him burst you down with his ult. It's like free candy.
All of his spells, excluding the E (although you can technicaly stay away from it) are dodgeable. If you got hit by his ult, which is his most powerful damage source, it's your own fault.
I think Annie might lose that matchup. She would win, except Ekkos Q is longer range than any of her spells. As a result, he has both the poke advantage and the all-in advantage, unless your combo can 100-0 him.
Play smart, bully him if possible when he tries to waveclear, and try to get a lead with jungle support. If you get fed enough, 100-0 should become way easier. Pretty sure Ekko can't proc his ult when stunned, so use that to your advantage. Ignite/flash are your best friends.
(I'm a jungle main, so I'm not very familiar with that matchup, but that's how it'd seem to work to me).
ekko isnt that hard to lane against just dodge abilitys and dont let him aa you stay away from his shaddow
how ever his aoe wombo combo 2.5 second stun and aoe assassin dmg are a bit over the top
Yeah, I dodged his Q every single time. And I dodged his circle on the ground thingly. But when he ulted me I just died. I'm sure he must have used a second ability since no way an ult can 1-shot a full HP champion with only a dorans and an amp tome.
I'm not biter; I won lane in the end. I was just continuously shocked how I had double his CS and so many more kills yet he was constantly a huge threat.
There's no way he would have survived burst from a fed annie unless you tried to burst him through his shield.
Keep an eye on his W and play around that. A fed Annie should be able to 100-0 Ekko before he can even use his ult assuming you're building properly and working around your item power spikes.
Ekko can heal burst, but he can't heal poke. If you want to burst him you HAVE TO KILL him. Otherwise you're better off playing Kog'maw or jayce or someone with really strong consistent poke. Ekko's ult heals relative to the damage he has taken in the last 4 seconds, so if you burst him down in .25 seconds and don't kill him, he heals for more, but if you poke him down over 15+ seconds, he's only going to heal a little bit.
