My League Experience.

I've been playing league for a long time, It helped build the friendship between me and my best friend.

Back when I first started playing I would play all day every day, averaging about 5-6 games per day and I enjoyed the game, a lot. I would choose to play league over ANYTHING else. WoW, ESO, Minecraft, it didnt matter, League was my baby. Back then when I first started, of course there were ragers and asshats, yet there were feeders and afk's too, but people were MUCH nicer than today, I would get and give honors daily and I actually cared about ranked.

Now though, 9 times out of 10 I'm matched with a toxic premade refusing to help me in any way at all, if I'm a laner the jungler ignores my pings for help while I'm being camped by the enemy team's jungler, and if I'm the jungler they let the enemies roam and invade without so much as pinging, and if I even ask for a ping they tell me I just need to deal with it on my own because it isn't their problem, all the while berating me, telling me to kill myself/die of cancer/drink bleach/etc., and blaming all their problems in that game on me just because I'm not in the premade. Then they try to drag the enemy team into it by making up a bunch of lies they all come together on since they're a premade, and the enemy team buys it, starts trolling me as well, and then report after.

This game has gone downhill and I personally blame Dynamic Queue. I actually had fun in this game before DQ came out. I would meet friendly people and have nice chats during the game and not care that much if I won or lost. Now that's gone because everyone's premade now and they use the safety of numbers to pick out and destroy anyone not in the premade with them. Muting doesn't work because then they either ping spam or intentionally mess up your game, coming into my lane and talking all the cs to starve me and make me do even worse, or actually acting like they're gonna gank to bait me into going in, only to flash mastery, spam laugh, then walk off as I die, then tell the enemy "report X for feeding".

There still are those golden games, where everyone is nice and friendly and work together as a team, one in particular stands out to me, and even happened in season 6. The game started a 4v5 and our ADC never reconnected. We were going to ff at 20 (remake wasn't a thing yet) but the strangest thing happened, we actually worked together. We made up strategies and worked together as a single unit, we somehow managed to get every dragon and even got baron, and we pulled off the win. It was the most intense and fun game I ever played in league of legends. The bad thing is I haven't run into one of these games in well over a month, just game after game of toxic premades, and solo's that just don't care anymore because ranked doesn't even matter anymore this season. I haven't even been able to bring myself to play ranked in over a month, and I barely play at all anymore anyways.

I can honestly say I have yet to have a SINGLE good experience being a solo player on a team that has a 3 or 4 man premade. Not a single good game.

TLDR; League is getting more and more toxic, the fun is gone, and I blame premades and Dynamic Queue.

I often play in a premade with 2-4 players, and we are NEVER toxic at all. The only reason why I really do this is because well, one of them is a rare support main and is actually good at it so why not. Also, it helps win because they are people you know and you can't just brush off their words and go off with your own thing and you know the people you play with have a decent skill level and are good enough for their role which prevents tilting/flaming etc. If someone is toxic, we would probably tell them to stop and then mute. I just wish more people would be like this.
