Why is there no feature to see the rarity of an icon?

It would be pretty cool if you could know how rare your icon is. Will Riot at some point make it so that hovering an icon for example shows when did you earn it and how was it earnable? While at it show how many summoners players own that icon. Not a first priority but that'd be a nice thing imo.
