Look at the Tiers (albeit we won, we played like bitches b/c we knew what their team had)

It sucks for the Trist that her team was messing around and not taking things seriously. It happens. Riot has no way of making everyone play their best every game. Some players like to play ranked exclusively, so when they try new stuff they do it there.
But even if both teams were exactly equal in ability, you'd still see total stomps some percentage of the time. Random stuff goes on in the game, and sometimes it's all on one team's side. That's just statistics.
