Did anyone else know that Fiddle's Fear doesn't stop spells?

Ez ults, I fear him. Ez ults still goes off. I thought fear should stop spells like that.

Fiddle's fear does stop channeled spells. However, Ezreal's ultimate is NOT a channeled spell. What you see instead is a very long casting animation. Because of this, Ezreal's ultimate cannot be interrupted by any form of CC once he starts casting it. The only way to stop it once he starts casting it is to kill him before he finishes the casting animation.

EDIT: Also, what aaronautumn said, the same concept applies to Lux's ultimate.

Now I can't stop imagining lux running around wildly as her laser flies in all directions.

Anyways it's probably just an animation thing where the spell casts but the animation doesn't finish til after that.

Actually I've seen a video of Draven knocking Ezreal aside and Ez ulted in the opposite direction.

yeah knockups can be really annoying for champions that cast towards their facing.

I wish Nami's Ult was the same. So many Tidal Waves interrupted XD I had it interrupted 3 times in a row once.

Yeah, that's not Fidds specific. Once Ez starts his ult, he's finishing it.

Even if you knock him back the projectile will originate from where he was when he started it.

Ez could have misclicked, but his projectile should have still originated from where he was pre-Stand Aside.

Yea...makes sense why I fear champs and STILL die to them sometimes. Sounds pretty stupid in my opinion.
