What is it with the victim complex?

Seems to me like in society in general everyone has a victim complex and that has carried over into League of Legends. How is it that a game such as this claims to be fighting AGAINST trolls and people with negative attitudes but gives them the ability to spam the report button and pretty much go unchecked. As someone who has three accounts I can say quite confidently that there are better solutions. Like what?

Get rid of the report button. Why? Because then people will just complain in game and you use the glorious /mute button instead. That's how you emphasize muting people rather than leaving a report button for people to threaten others with.

The victim complex is disgusting. WoW doesn't go to this level and WoW doesn't have nearly as many trolls NOT because they don't exist but because Blizzard knows how to retain control of THEIR game and keep it in THEIR hands. Thus the players understand that they're not playing a game that revolves around them, but rather, around millions of people.

Most of the time reports are done simply because someone makes a mistake. So if you remove the report button and people are forced to open support tickets (like in WoW) then I'll wager a good 60% of reports won't happen because people are too lazy to put forth that much effort into something that was stupid to begin with.

It's not hard to use the mute button. If someone does something blatantly against the rules? Then you'll have the reasoning/inspiration to open a support ticket after muting them. But this report button has done nothing but create a society of LoL victims who abuse it and in turn, win the war against Riot.
