tl;dr: Legendary Snowballing begins 12/23. Do not buy Legendary Skins until then to get the Mystery Skin.
I've already seen quite a few threads about people buying Legendary Skins and not getting the Mystery Skin. Well, that's because it's not active yet! Please save your money until the 23rd. Apparently reading is difficult.

This is correct - Legendary Snowballing runs from December 23rd - January 7th.

So, if you gift me a legendary, I get the legendary and the mystery skin. If I get a legendary from the mystery skin, only I will receive another mystery skin. I won't be able to gift that skin, I'll just be able to open it.
Solis Deus1 votesThis is only somewhat related, but if you want to gift someone a skin and that skin is discounted in their Snowdown Shop, does that mean you get that percentage off to gift it to them? For example, if you had a 50% discount on Lollipoppy, would I be able to gift it to you for 487 RP or 975 RP?

This is correct - Legendary Snowballing runs from December 23rd - January 7th.

- If your Mystery gift is a legendary or an ultimate, you'll continue to snowball and receive another Mystery Gift.
- If you gift a Legendary Snowball, the person you're sending it to will also receive the Mystery Gift.
- If you gift someone a Legendary Snowball and their Mystery Gift is a legendary (or ultimate), they'll receive another Mystery Gift. (TL;DR, you can snowball from gifting.)
- There is no limit as to how many skins you can snowball with! Feelin' lucky?
- Surprise Party Fiddlesticks and Primetime Draven, while priced as 975 RP, are legendary skins and are part of the Legendary Snowball. They're permenantly discounted as a thanks to players.
- Legacy Legendary skins listed in the Snowstorm Sale are also part of the Legendary Snowdown.

Do ultimate sins also count for the legendary snowball? At first everyone said they didnt count for legendary snowball but your post confused me and now i`m not sure.

Hedgehog Hustler1 votesThat's correct, and Lolipoppy is not legendary. Legendary skins are classified a costing 1820 RP (except for Primetime Draven and Surprise Party Fiddlesticks).

I'm happy I'll get a bonus mystery skin with it ^^ thanks Rito for clearing that up. Also, does self mystery gifting count towards the 20 gifting limit? I was confused because I sent myself 10 mystery gifts and I gifted a friend once or twice and I hit my "gifting" limit. Never was able to send the icons as they were not in the store for me. Just thought we were able to send 20 items?
