Has anyone Been seeing Ping decreases since they started playing league?

I started playing league around 2.5 years ago and when I started I used to get a solid 121 ping every game. Every 6 months or so I get ping decrease. As of today I'm getting a solid 82 ping. This is a huge drop since I started playing and I'm really impressed with riot.

Ping is determined by a lot of factors, not just how good Riot's servers are.

I used to be around 50-60 when I joined in 2011, now I'm around 70-80 sometimes going as low as 60. Then again, I've switched internet providers since then, idk if that makes a difference.
