I was just gonna let it demote me to Bronze 5 and then climb back up from there, but it put me in Garen's IdontevencarebecauseGarenisntnearlyascoolasOriannawhoisoneofmyfavoritechampionsinthegame. Is there a way to like drop out of ranked and restart and hopefully get one of my favorite champs again? (Like Ori, Talon, Kog, Trundle, Shyvana, Veigar, etc)
Wait for the next season for the rank resets. And maybe you will get a different division name. (I think that is what you are referring to)

The only way to get a new league thingy is by being promoted or demoted into a new league. Also, you have more of a chance of being in the same division name as your friends, so if you see a name you like you should add a bunch of people in there once you're close to Silver.
Yeah, smurfing is really the only way to get yourself all the way down to bronze. It's also looked down upon by Riot to intentionally throw games just to go down in rank. You'll be ruining your teams' games during your promos as you try to get placed in bronze, and ruining your opposing teams' games when you get there, since you'll be so much more skilled than them.
