autofill isnt the problem

autofill is just a symptom of the problem, autofill is the cough, fixing a cough doesnt mean you got rid of the pneumonia. it just means you got rid of a cough.

you see the actual problem this game has, ever since early season 2 or late season 1 when the meta materialized has been bottom lane.

no matter how you spin it bottom lane is the source of all issues in league. its affecting all champions, and all roles.

most champions, regardless of how much you dont want to admit it are being balanced around bot lanes vulnerabilities.

the main issue is that you have 1 income stream and 2 recipients. which means one of the 2 people will be gold starved no matter what. which means they have to buy cheap items, which means they have their own category of items, but these items will always be perceived as substandard BECAUSE THEY ARE CHEAPER.

the gold starvation also means that one of the 2 champions is obscenely vulnerable and has absolutely no 1v1 potential at all.

this isnt a fun way to play for most people. now i personally like playing support. i main support, however, most people dont. which means you will never get enough supports to keep the games going and the queue short.

and the issue isnt autofill, its botlane in general. fkin fix botlane. give an income stream to the support, delete "support" items altogether, and let them build carry and be able to do it.

You should work on making support a role on par with ADC, MID, Jungle, or top. all of those roles can carry. all of those roles can build a bit of utility and then carry and still carry. and so should support.
