The Matchmaking System... Oh my.

So for the past couple of weeks i've been noticing a lot of mid-silvers to low golds. I've even had 2 plat players 2 games in a row on the enemy team! My team usually consists of bronze to silver players. I am only bronze II. I do not understand why i have to face such high elo players. I blow so i have no clue.. So anybody know what is going on with that?

Honestly, the only possible explanation I could think of is that someone else on the team is extremely low level and is queueing with their high elo friends.

I just had a similar problem, check out my past 3 games. I'm gold V queuing with a silver V friend and we had to face stuff like a diamond I on their main role. No diamonds on our team at all.
