@Riot Why was an unranked summoner allowed to enter my promo's into gold?

I want Riot to explain the logic to this.

I was doing my first match of my promo's into gold and I get this Sivir. who is unranked.. I kid you not, unranked. Of course she fed and cost us the game.

Riot, plain and simply, why was this allowed to happen?

You fed too, also spirit visage on blitz isnt the best since you dont heal often enough.

Because said player was thought appropriate for that match based on MMR. Judging by build/loadout decisions in that game, it's not a surprise as to why.

While Sivir didn't do well, neither did the rest of your team honestly.

They were most likely around Silver I, Gold V last season which is why you were placed with them.
