So I was doing my usual thing on youtube, which is look up random shit and watch everything of it, and then I saw this. The Cypher for LoL, a bunch of youtubers challenged each other on in the LoL community. Y'know.

WHEN EVERYONE ACTUALLY TALKED TO EACH OTHER AND DIDN'T HATE EACH OTHER. YEAH.

It seems like the LoL community is literally full of fucking drama and reddit shit and man it just pisses me off.

i don't think people have become more toxic in the past couple years. i've been playing since 2012 and back then you could say whatever you want and only end up with chat restrictions.

with this new system, if you get chat restrictions, you put yourself at risk for a ban. if you're saying something really fucked up (racism homophobia death threats suicide baiting etc etc) you can get a permaban instantly.

but i do think more recently people have been communicating way less. since the new champ select came out, 90% of the time, nobody says a single word in champ select. they just lock their champ and tab out. i do the same thing.

it's also a lot worse in dynamic queue. i've played ranked games being the only solo person and had people completely leave me out of all the communication. i fucking hate it. can't wait for solo q.
