I thought it looked really good, and would be an awesome update to her splash. Was it pulled due to issues with design conflicting with her in-game model, is a rework planned, etc? Any answer would be awesome <3

dont even think about having pretty splash arts for female champions, rito will only make yordles look nicer(poppy), but for human they will always become more ugly(fiora)

It's an artistic decision, they draw characters how they envision it, not cause of some conspiracy reason.

That, and in one of their articles about Illaoi, they mentioned that most of their female champions were drawn using the same model as a reference. Jinx was supposedly the first to use a different body type (yordles aside), but used the same face.

I think Fiora was the only exception with the pretty women thing... I was iffy with her new splash too, but I guess I'm used to it now. Still wish she had the same face, though.

You people are just as bad as the feminists who cry that oversexualized women offend them and then proceed to make it hell for the artist's life and career. For one thing, as long as the subject is Twitch, a gaming stream site, people seem to agree that spheres reserved for gaming should not accomodate explicit sexual displays---yet they almost EXPECT explicit sexuality and dick tickling out of Riot artists when it comes to female character design. Literally, what??

I can't even imagine being a trained graphic design artist and having worked for years learning the principles of design and spending hours and hours honing my skills and talent into something professional grade--and then being talked down to for a technically flawless piece of art( that showcases a character perfectly) by a bunch of horny little gamer boys, because their boners did not agree with it.

I agree 100%, my heart goes out to artists (my sister is one, and I'm more into graphic designing than traditional art, but still,) because of that reason. The problem is Riot won't 100% satisfy ANYONE, seeing how some are feminists who refuse any type of cleavage or revealing clothing, while others demand it, and then the small majority is like "We don't care just make SOMETHING!'

Judging by Irelia's pose, I'm guessing the entire splash that none of us have seen probably has this amazing shot of her juicy ass in all its glory. But since the feminists have been taking over recently, they've been cracking down on good splashes. Look at fucking Illaoi and new Katarina, also especially project: Leona. that's sadly the direction riot is going to go with future splashes. They need to stop appeasing feminist and continue what they do best: Objectifying women, emphasizing breast and butt size, and making sexy and colorful splashes!

Anyway, PROJECT Leo's splash art is mighty fine.

I mean....some people in the community, including myself, see her as a buff woman. Not Illaoi buff. Think Ronda Rousey buff. And i´m totally fine with that. She shouldn´t be skinny, especially when she carries a relatively thick sword and a double layered heavy shield...along with wearing an armor. Riot even went as far as to put abs on her armor in the PROJECT splash. Which is damn amazing.

The leaked Irelia splash would probably not show her ass, given the pose, unless she's really damn flexible.

The only bad thing about the new Katarina splash is her face. Too stretched vertically.

I respectfully disagree. Project Leona is fully covered in armor, head to toe. Women should not be wearing armor at all. Instead, their outfits should be skimpy and revealing. A woman's value as a human being should be judged strictly on their fitness, beauty, and sexual appeal. Splash arts like project Leona and Illaoi go against my views and as such, I find it offensive.

Not really, no. It was just a badly disguised meme personality to make people angry. There's ways to do that that can be funny, but you didn't bring anything new to the table. I've already heard it before. There's nothing to give it that ounce of believability at all, which is what makes that genre of humor funny. Your execution is also pretty off, you need to draw people in rather than just exploding at people.
