Hey! Thanks for taking the time to look into it, I greatly appreciate it! At the time I was rather new to the boards and their rules and was confused about what was being removed when there were threads along the lines of "#### u rito" and other toxic things sticking around when I didn't have a specific reasoning attached with my messages, however I definitely understand the policy behind "Naming and Shaming" as usually it's a player looking to vent their frustrations while calling out another individual (and losing all productivity in the process). I've done my best since then to enforce those rules and encourage others to do the same, as more often than not (as you stated) it leads to an environment of witch-hunting where little is used for productive thoughts and suggestions and instead turns into a circular reasoning thread where the original poster is, more or less, looking to garner support from their experience. I don't intend on re-posting an edited version of the thread as I consistently see "Ping Spam" as a hot topic in PB&M, however I would definitely encourage those with ideas to do so as there's always room for improvement in the system.
For suggestions, I don't have too many. I try to be active in the community and share the information I have available while remaining composed, as well as provide people with different perspectives as to why their behavior would be seen as offensive. I find that most of the time it's usually best to refer the individual to Player Support or to ask for the logs (although half the time players would rather keep them to themselves, for obvious reasons) to try and help those who don't understand their punishment by providing some insight on how someone else may feel. I have noticed a significant increase in the improvement of moderation throughout the boards though, and for this I thank you (and everyone else involved) that has made it a more pleasant experience for those of us that want to contribute in a civil manner, and has given more visibility towards the "don't be a jerk" mentality where Mods/Arbiters/Rioters/etc. post in threads to remind others of the golden rule.
I do agree that removing/editing out screenshots would be a step in the right direction though - although I can see that there would be a significant amount of man-power involved if lots of threads required someone to "paint" over affected images and re-upload them to an image hosting site.
Again, thank you for your time at looking into this! It's greatly appreciated to see more activity and visibility from those that help to moderate the boards and has led to a far more pleasant (and informed) experience for all of us.
