Jungling is one of the hardest roles to play. Yet....
No jungler I have seen wants to own up to being outplayed. There is a way out of any fail argument and they all say what is and is not their job. I'm starting to think they think their only job is to "literally jungle".
Witch one of these is not your job:
- Push lanes
- Help ward jungle
- Gank
- Help control objectives
- Assist in pressuring lanes. (at least pick one lane.)
- Get fed
- Get carries fed
I don't jungle but I do know that staying in your jungle and never ganking is troll. So that means ganking a lane is your job by default. You are in the jungle because it is a source of income. This kind of stuff has all been said before but Isay again for new jungler that might not have heard it yet. There are always new people trying new roles. Last thing I want is for some bad habit you might have heard from some other jungler to infect you early.
I know I will be down voted. That's cool and all. Jungle seems to be nebulous as to what they should be achieving.Seems like whatever you want out of them is not their job. I just started a thread where a guy told me dragon control is not his job so he doesn't have to come bot. If you need his help you are being beaten in lane. That is entirely true... I be beaten in lane by match up or skill level. Gank, pass by to keep them honest, go all in, do something. If they start to smell blood in the water, their jungler should come down and help them slit our throats and push turret down. If We have them push to turret that is not the end of your job. True we should be zoning and setting the pick but their are many dimensions to the game including the 4 man dive.
I ask you politely to make your presence felt. The opponent should feel the need to ward the river. If he never sees you the entire laning phase, I hope some other lane is cursing your presence.
I REALIZE THIS POSITION IS HARD. But you chose it. Kudos. Now go get'em!
