I may just be remembering wrong but isn't the champion reveal like a week before the release date? Or is it three weeks? My rule of thumb was three weeks from PBE release so I can't remember when they usually do the champion reveal in relation to the champions release date.

Swollwonder2 votesHe cost the same as all the highest rp tier champions and another 900 IP at 7200 ip for the first week of release. The release skin is bundled with the champion at what I believe is a $5 discount (i never buy skins so I wouldn't know)

But Riot isn't giving youtubers early access specifically. I have no video presence on youtube and I have a PBE account. They signed up for a PBE account just like every other player can. Riot is getting people hyped for Kindred through announcements, teasers, and stories. Youtubers are doing their own thing, and new champs are popular subject matter that can get them lots of views on their videos.

Nobody gets a guaranteed PBE account. I never claimed that me having one meant that youtubers didn't. I only brought it up to say that normal players get them too. Not every youtuber has one, but a lot of them sign up for them because of the reasons I stated earlier. (Early access is a good draw for viewers, which gets them more money.)

Twiggles1 votesGood money for Riot or not, that isn't what I meant. I mean it's good money for the youtubers (since they get paid by youtube the more views and subscriptions they get). The youtubers (mostly) are not out to make Riot money, and none of them are on Riot's payroll. They youtubers are out to make themselves money, and the PBE allows them to do that a little more easily and a little sooner.

Rift Enforcer1 votesTo answer your question: Riot put out an update saying that kindred got pushed back to being released until 5.20 patch update. They found some glitches and bugs that they want to fix before releasing the champion.
