Key fragments and chests don't drop anymore?

I've had really good games with Vel'Koz and even got a few S+ playing him support (one S+ was on the losing team while no one else even got a S- in both teams). Now I know playing the same champ over and over again explains why I'm not getting chests but key fragments?! I'm not complaining I love free stuff (I also understand the marketing and the money behind this) but players getting S+ on the losing team and not getting a single key fragment sucks. I'm not asking for us to easily get fragments but considering that you need 3 to get a single key and that chest drops are pretty rare, I think we should be rewarded when we have a great performance.

It's not every day you get S+ playing support on the losing team. It's not a bragging thread BTW I can't really brag I'm only a silverino but I'm using my performance as an example. What do you guys think?

Its simple, keys are so fucking rare cuz Rito want you to buy them in the store.

Working like they are suppose to. They had a high drop rate to get people pumped then dropped to rare occurrences like they should. It's just a thing to give people free skins/champs eventually for hours/days of play. It should be a very low drop chance for key fragments.

As per my knowledge gather though a billion or so red posts, th key fragment drop rate is tuned to be increasingly rare as you acquire more. However, the drop rate also rises along with the chest refresh. That means that infrequent players will have a reasonable drop rate and frequent players will have a lower one, but both will acquire a similar amount.
