Not sure why everyone is all super excited about CLG going 3-0

Totally happy for CLG, not by any means a fan of TSM or CLG, but it seems a bit odd to see twitter, reddit and so on blowing up about a CLG 3-0.

TSM were going to worlds regardless of the win or lose, 3-0 or not.

TSM had absolutely nothing to play realistically, and I'm not saying they threw, because I don't believe that, but I mean...be legit thinking about this. They gained absolutely nothing outside of first seed (which doesn't mean THAT much going into worlds). They were going to worlds no matter win or lose. They got to practice and be on stage in front of a crowd to get their jungler used to that big stage.

I mean...yay CLG but...they beat a team that had literally nothing to play for, so it feels like an empty victory to me personally. All CLG did was make Liquid have to play for their spot to go to worlds instead of making it in by TSM winning.

Why would you go into a competitive game and not give it your all? That's a defeatist mentality. "We don't need to win, so just play half-assed."

Logged in cuz I agree with you and was sick of the downvotes.

Anyone who was watching TSM play all year knows they weren't at their best. They made waaaaay too many easy mistakes. Maybe they didn't 'obviously' throw, but they did NOT give it their all. TSM goes to Worlds every year. They wanted CLG to make it to worlds WITH them because they know they can beat CLG. It's one less team to worry about. And why beat them on a national stage when you can beat them on an international stage? Makes for a better spectacle. CLG hasn't been 1st place in any premier tournies since 2011. It was a pity fuck.

Think whatever you want, and be a fan of whoever you want, but if you were SERIOUSLY watching the games this year, you KNOW TSM was toying with them. (P.S. I don't check replies, so downvote or reply as much as you want, dood.)
