Not only does each lane come with its own set of difficulties, each champion has its feel. In the spirit that the league community can be devoid of sometimes (e.g. encouragement, humility), let's come up with a list of strengths that each lane brings to the table.

Top -Map Awareness when taking teleport for that opportune ganking moment

  • Farming and trading
  • Denying ganks like a pro given the larger susceptibility to ganks (e.g. mono e mono, large lane, can snowball easily)

Mid -Usually a carry role meaning timing and precision are a must -Let others know what is going on around the map given there positioning in the middle -Warding mid can be a crucial element for both jungler and laner -Roaming when need be -Farming and trading

Jungle -Incredible map awareness to know when and where to gank -Patience for gank timing -Dragon and Baron control -Knowledge of popular ward spots

ADC -Ability to read and react well with support -Able to carry well -Knowledge of opposing lane's synergy -Ability to avoid ADC and supp poke while farming and trading like a pro

Support -Wards, ward, wards: knowledge and ability to place wards in optimum places -Keep people alive (i.e. peeling like a pro) -Incredible map awareness (mini map is best friend) -In some cases, setting up opportune situations for kills

This is not an exhaustive list by any means. Within each lane there is diversity in champions, play style, and situational circumstances. Please add your own thoughts to the mix. What makes each lane stand out in its own way?

I would add something about the synergy between roles like adc/support and mid/jungle because teamwork is definitely a major factor in games. If you have it, there is a higher chance of pulling off a victory. ADC's are able to carry the game because their support gets them fed and protects them. Mid is like the crossroads for ganks which means junglers will be passing in and out of the lane. Pings and map awareness are a must for both of these roles and they need to communicate with each other to play effectively. TEAMWORK IS KEY. nice post btw:)
