It seems Salty Teemo has been banned. Did Riot have something to do with this? I tried Googling it.

yes i'm also wondering what happened to their channel, it says it has been closed when you go there

It says that it was closed by the community. This likely means that it was reported multiple times by viewers, causing it to be closed automatically. Probably what you had was a bunch of people reporting it for whatever random option when it was down for awhile (it breaks sometimes). Something similar happened to a major bot-hosted spectate stream back when the LCS teams were bootcamping in Korea for worlds.

Also, people are monkeys.

I don't think this was such a great feature for Twitch to implement, especially given the rumored difficulty and tediousness of getting unbanned.

So sad to hear about SaltyTeemo, my favorite stream to watch while drunk or just while enjoying a meal between work. :(

I went to the stream today and it's not banned.

I was really disappointed when I saw this yesterday... I'm wondering if maybe since they added names back to the stream, maybe people were harassing the players? Is it possible someone just reported them for it? Not really sure how Twitch operates but I feel like if they got enough complaints they'd do something about it.

Riot has no power over twitch stream, and all that channel was doing was spectate games, so they wouldnt.
