To you surprise, that is actually not true.

I am a diamond elo jungler, but i know for a fact that : My Mid is probably around high gold to low plat. My Top is probably around low gold My support and Adc are both rather good.

But there, if my smurf were in mid to high gold, i can't win top or sometimes even mid lane, let alone carry.

I had a guy who claimed he was smurfing and asked for mid After first pick chose mid, we came to find out that he (last pick) literally only owned mids on his account

He went botlane Nidalee APC and carried the game super hard

Some high level players are only good with 3-4 champions, much less 3-4 roles

"learn" morg, and you are good to go for 4 roles, (yes jungle morg works :D)

bottom of d1 last season. I dont play adc, i probably have the skill level of a silver adc. dont make me play adc

ADC is easiest role to carry from when smurfing. The extreme snowbally nature of botlane combined with the fact that ADC scales hardest into late game basically ensures that you will be able to stomp the enemy team no matter what. Yes you can smurf and carry with any role, but playing ADC just makes it much easier.
