Interesting, I figured his style to be more AD based from his video, but I guess an AP build path fits his kit better. (I'm just guessing he's meant to scale on AP because of the released voiceovers having special interactions with Rabadon's and Nashor's, I would've expected a Zhonya's interaction even if he didn't scale with AP at all)
And I've gotta say, I love the voiceover. So sassy!

I would like him to be hybrid.
They may expect him to be a bit of a hybrid, he has shop quotes for Trinity Force and Hextech Gunblade.
If you look at abilities alone then Ekko is an AP champ, but so would Shaco be an AP champ. Shaco has 1:1 ratio on E and R and a good ratio on W-boxes. Only AD type ability shaco has is the crit attached to his Q-deceive. I could see you building him AD w/ hydra and maybe some crit like shaco, or AD bruiser like an evelynn build.
