Is getting the Mid Turret worth not following the Roaming Mid Laner

it's worth, but you won't get the mid turret because your opponent won't roam unless wave is pushing your way. at most, mid laner loses 2 waves of cs and 15-20% hp on the turret

My thoughts:

• If their roaming mid sucks and won't be able to do anything bot, yes.
• If your jungler can get access to their jungle and use it to gank top and bottom, yes.
• If you can't 1v1 him in case he decides to turn around and ping bottom, yes.
• If he's completing ignoring mid, yes. (I recently had a mid that gave up 2 towers in 15 minutes because he was never in lane then called me bad)
• If your jungler is going bot and your team can win the 3v3, maybe. (you'd still want kill participation, but if you need the tower more, it's worth)
• If he gets a double, takes a tower, and dragon before ganking you, no.
• If you can get a triple, bot tower, and a dragon out of following him, no.
• If you can turn a losing 2v3 into an even trade, no.
• If he was losing mid and ganking bot gets him back in the game , no.
