Lil' experiment: Removed League from my PC 5 days ago

Didn't install Overwatch, or Warframe or Dota2, or HoTS or noneofthatshit. I simply removed League, I wanted to try.

I found myself:

  • In a better overall mood at the end of the day
  • My sleep hours are much more balanced now
  • I'm laughing again at silly stuff that would usually make me salty days ago.
  • I'm feeling way less anxious when near my PC

League is truly a toxic cloud of rot, as a person with old anxiety issues not being able to notice It was having such a large impact in my daily mood is a revelation. This game really hides a lot of its "addiction" behind barriers of "Rewards" to make you forget and just get addicted, like a drug.

Disgusting!

Just wanted to share, ignore this thread or comment, thanks for reading and I hope you can remove some toxicity from your life if you also remove League!

League is not the problem. If it was everyone would be experiencing things like you are. I actually mean it when I say everyone.

I don't know what the problem is, as I don't know what goes on in that head of yours, but if you solved that you would be able to play League just fine. This is, of course, assuming you would still want to play it. The point is you could without any of those negative problems.

But in the end it doesn't really matter so long as you are happy. Hopefully you find whatever really caused this so it doesn't come back in the future.

You can just mute everyone and play relaxed games...
