Oh, you mean the grind through about 4 hours of tutorials? That actually explain mechanics, shopping, and all the other good things in the client? I'd say it's worth it.
I gave up in like 2 hours.
I took 5 minutes to understand how shop interface works.
Not how the shop works, nor the courier or the different shops, JUST HOW TO SELECT AND PICK THE DAMN THINGS.
I'll just straight up admit I'm too stupid to play Dota.
2 major issues I have with Dota2,
Other than those, I am sure Dota2 is a shiet ton of fun, if you're prepared to play it for years.
you can draw dicks on the minimap on dota 8======D~~
I don't know what the problem is with the shop? It's divided in 2 pages, base items and the finished items. Then broken down into columns by type (def, off, spell caster, etc).
Its not the best, but there are a fair amount of items to work through. You should just stick to recomended items. Which you can load your own, or even load community voted ones. Includes skill builds.
Good thing I have a few friends from GD that play DotA and don't really care how well you play. Makes learning/easing into DotA a little easier.
I don't think we need a contest over who's new user experience is the worst. Because let's be honest, they're both really shitty.
I don't know, I tried it and people didn't seem to bad. I just couldn't figure out that damn shop lol.
only some russians care about dota 2
