This game MADE me toxic...

I noticed something the last days... I am toxic... I flame, I startt to caps stuff like "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME" when stupid plays repeat...

I was shocked when I noticed how agressive I get in this game... Thats not me...

I never was like that before I played LoL, on LANs, online games, multiplayer, no matter what... I was always taking defeat with a laugh. Hell, I can play Monopoly without threatening to kill someone... Well, at least I could.

Maybe its because in every other game, me winning or losing is actually based on my skill vs the enemy skill, and not with 4 random factors I have no controle about...

Anyway... I became toxic and I dont like it... I like the game, but I dont wnat to get more like... this.

Any tips how I can regain my calm personality? How I can survive this Hell called the LoL community, without becoming part of the demons?

Pro tip: You can actually control how good your teammates are. It is assured that if you say negative stuff in chat, they WILL play worse than before, thus giving you control on how well they play.

Seriously though, this is just a game.

Try to start a game by dragging the chat box out of your screen, and challenge yourself to NOT SAY A SINGLE WORD during the entire game. Yes, it affects your communication, but you should be fine with only pings. Once you get used to not flaming your teammates for their mistakes, you can proceed to playing normaly, only now using chat to shotcall and to communicate information about the game.

Idk i'm no specialist in this area, but that's what i did and it worked

Plain false.

It does not matter how good/well behaved you are if your "team mates" are just ppl who don't care about giving a damn in a game and want to play something different than CoD or GTA without any clue on how to support team mates.

Same ppl that will go on you if you try to suggest things like "please don't spread in jungle" or "do not deep push alone". All you get back is "lol why so serious", "this is normal so gtfo" and "omg you so pro man teach me".

I agree that insults and writing in caps doesn't help much... They all need a kick right on their teeth,

Honestly, I'm just going to start taking the "mute all" approach. rito has no plan to actually address the causes of 98% of the toxicity in the game (ie last pick autolocking riven because "idc i want top" even though top is already picked). So toxicity won't decrease at all. Lyte's current method of fixing toxicity is to change the loading font colors. LOL. If you noticed, there is a lot less chat in the game. That is because even saying something like, "please play safe" to the 0-5 top laner results in chat bans.
