League of Legends: A Family Game Part II
Hey y'all, Part I is here:http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=4692856&highlight=league+family+game+book+man
Based on the positive feedback from Part I I thought I would keep you all updated. Here is where my family stands right now from a League perspective:
-
I use to show my boys one episode of LaLaLaDemacia every night before bed. My wife watched one episode and was shocked I would show my boys all that "booty-bouncing" and insisted I stop. So this has since ended.
-
My now 3 year old is exactly the same as he was. If I don't play with "Book-man", "Card-man", or Annie he has a hissy-fit. Occassionally, he will be OK with me playing with "Cocker-Mundo". Anyone else and I have my wife coming in the room and saying "Look you made him angry and I don't have time to deal with it. Just play a bot game with the champion he likes"
-
My wife still hates the game. I saw an article on her dresser about "Husbands and video game addiction". Lol. She's right.

My 6 year old...well god-damn he has grown. He knows almost every champion in the game AND ALL OF THEIR MOVES!! He doesn't know what they are called but a while back for example he exclaimed (I was Ezreal) "DAD! You are going to make your team lose if you keep missing your Q shot". He friggin loves the game.
Last night I was putting the boys to sleep and I told them about the new champion who digs into the ground. They were fascinated. After I shut the lights my 6 year old shouts excitedly:
"Dad! I have a great idea!" "What?" I ask. "League should make a new person who's moves trick the other team into thinking he is on their team!" (I thought that was very clever for a 6 year old). "That is a good idea" I said. "Let me write about it to the men who make League". I leave the room. "DADDY!" "What?" I walk back into the room. "I have a great idea! His R move should let him become ANYONE else in the game for 1 second and they can cast any of that person's spells!" "I will definitely tell them about this" "Daddy." "WHAT?" "Make sure to tell the artists so they can start drawing it" (I told him a while back that there is an art team).
Anyhow, that inspired this post. Hope you guys enjoyed the read.
