I'm tired of only seeing Ezreal and Lucian every game now... Playing Trist and Jinx this season doesn't even feel as rewarding

I don't miss Vayne, but yeah, at least Trist and Jinx had to scale up quite a bit. The good champions nowadays have, at maximum, two item power spikes.
