Lower Elo: I think that complaining about going against higher elo when you were smurfing isn't a fair comparison, seeing as most high elo players I've talked to said to either carry your team single handedly, or you don't deserve to climb, is a little unfair.

That "quote" is completely irrelevant BS. Also what's "higher elo" supposed to mean? Diamond 3+? Those guys earned the right to lecture and craptalk us "lower elo" players. Their skill is backing up their words. Deal with it.
