This is really adding insult to injury

Yeah, I main morde, always have, always will. So how come every enemy has to flame me for "Picking an OP champ", "Riding Freelo", "Sucking the fun out of the game", "Tryharding" and countless other insults?

Seriously, it gets worse if I'm actually doing bad for once. Then they even start to spit things like "Can't even play a broken champ LOL" or even go as far as to say I should rename and refund my skins.

Are people this dense and don't realize that some players actually play the Juggernauts even before their reworks? We mained them before, we played them when they were underrated and sometimes weak and now we get flamed for playing our favorite champions? For real?

Tl;DR: Stop presuming people only play the currently "OP" champions to win and not because they liked them before or love their designs.

I played a game as morde today or a day ago. "GL HF" "I can't have fun with Morde in the game"- Enemy Lee Sin.

Got accused of fishing for free wins by playing Skarner shortly after the juggernaut update. I've played him all the way back when his q slowed.

I feel you, man. I mained Morde, too, but this rework killed his identity. Honestly, I want it reverted. It stings even more that they ignored the feedback from the PBE and ended up with this awful mess.

Well here's the problem- in two parts:

League is full of people who are never wrong.
Those people know that everyone else is always wrong, and feeds, and trolls, and picks OP champs but sucks and only plays reworked champs without ever touching the champion before.

In short, community sucks quite the lemon.

lol I've been a Karthus main since near the end of S3 (or whenever SG Udyr came out I'm not sure exactly) and when ZhaoWeiZhao went karthus and completely took a dump on Zed some time back. I once got slightly flamed by someone saying "lol you are not ZhaoWeiZhao, why are you playing karthus". Now I'm kinda hesitant to play again and get flamed for playing Karthus now that Easyhoon has managed to win with karthus at worlds.

I didn't main Mordekaiser before, but whenever I was on a losing streak I'd normally go Morde top and shred them with my metal. Full AP Morde + DFG was godmode.

No one could stop me. Now, however, I never play him simply due to his awkward rework.

Yeah... but your argument is invalid.

If you liked the old Mord, there's no reason you'd like the new one.

You're playing him to win, since he's nothing like he used to be.

Garen Yup. I loved him right up until they removed Atmas. Then I got pissed at Riot for killing my fav build and quit for awhile.

Honestly I feel he's lost power with the rework. He no longer has a perma-shield. I hated Morde's before now. Now it's just another squish that I run through with my main. Yasuo is my main, always has, and always will be. I feel people often believe he's OP when in actuality he is balanced. He requires skill to play, and has a kit that rewards team plays. Anyways, so I agree with the original poster here

I hate being called toxic and yelled out endlessly for maining Fizz, im not even a toxic person ;^; I just like Fizz because I love throwing shrimp at people and having a large manatee pop up and eat someone! He is so fun to me because fish fish fish!
