Haven't gotten a key fragment in months

I've played who knows how many matches with and without friends and won most of them. I haven't gotten a key fragment in a month or more. I know earning key fragments is a curve so the 2nd one is harder than the first ect. but I heard it was supposed to reset every month and it has definitely been longer than a month and I haven't gotten one key fragment. It keeps saying in the after game lobby "you must own the champion to earn its box and key fragment". Does this mean they made it where you now only get key fragments from S rank? Although I have gotten 2 boxes from S rank and no key fragments from those so I doubt that is the case.

Key Fragments and indeed Hextech were implemented early to mid April. If it has been a month, it has barely been a month since the system went live, so in some cases, the key drop reset has not occurred yet, since it resets every month. Don't be so dramatic.

Key Fragments, as has been stated ad nauseum every other day a thread like this pops up, are on a decaying scale. At the start of the month, you'll earn them frequently, but as you continue to earn fragments, the chance of acquiring them drops. You can roughly earn 6 Fragments fairly easily before the drop rate plummets.

first you have to own the champ just as it said, this means buying it with ip or rp, basically you can't earn boxes or keys from free week champs unless you bought them previously.

second, play a few ARAM games, I've got 4 keys sitting there waiting for when my friends want to 5 man queue OR riot makes it possible to get champion mastery in ARAMs. I can't be bothered to go deal with randoms in normal queue let alone ranked. ARAM players are much friendlier/easy to ignore.
