Is it me or is Kog Maw bulls!#t?

I thought his speed double cap was awesome but then I saw that it does 55%. Isn't that in effect just putting his damage at normal but his speed is merely 2.5 (roughly)? You max him out to get what you would get on anyone else and other don't have hybrid builds or anything. From the higher ups in DIVS, why would I pick him instead of Vayne? I have just started ADCing and I was going to pick out of the norm but it seems there is little reason to pick him considering his speed is a gimmick. Is he only nasty standing behind THREE tanks or so?

When they did the marksman update I was geeked by the videos I saw on his speed. That quickly blew over and the wave of complaints set in.

Yeah he basically gets rooted to deal 10% increased damage and apply on hit effects twice. The only way he isn't rooted is if you somehow can average above 600 actions per minute. Odds are someone that can move and use every auto as kog is scripting.

This is a big reason why Kog has such a low win rate. In theory he's pretty awesome because he has huge range, max % health damage, and huge attack speed but if he doesn't get protection he's useless.

Don't underestimate the on hit damage though. Kog can put out some insane damage and melt towers if he doesn't get focused.
