I made a thread claiming GP was disabled due to a bug (still not sure there isn't some truth to that, but I won't continue saying so for now).

Apparently Riot actually just disabled a newly reworked champion for absolutely no reason outside of an event, that was pirate themed, in which people would have liked to play a pirate....during the event that was centered around the reworking of....okay okay you get my point.

I was wrong, but the fact that GP was disabled not due to a legitimate reason was amusing for a day. The fact that GP has been disabled for over 3 days for this reason is borderline dumb. I'm sorry to say that Riot guys, but...seriously. 3+ days?

Anyways, just wanted to say I was wrong, because I was full on claiming otherwise to people, hoping Riot wasn't that silly, but I was wrong, and I really wish I wasn't lol

Honestly I agree. They shouldn't disable Gangplank just because he's dead in their story of Bilgewater. It's stupid, and it hurts Gangplank mains as they can't use their best/favorite champ, and upkeep practice on him.

I agree that it was a bad decision, but even as a player that has no interest in lore normally they made me really like this event, and I look forward to whatever plan they have that is so important that they killed a champion off so hard he was disabled XD

I think a surprise GP skin that was only internally tested, or making Spooky GP the base skin are not far fetched ideas.
