Can we PLEASE have profile banners WITHOUT the required icon?

I really love the banner I have at the moment, but I absolutely hate the Summoner icon, its disgusting. I have seen the new URF icon and I know I want it, but I'm not buying it. If I buy it and use it, my banner will be removed.

Can you please implement an option to choose from your available banners so that we can use whatever icons we want too?

I would agree with this, I like the both the icons and banners personally. But I like my other icons too. I'm sure the owners of Spirit Guard Udyr and Pulsefire Ezreal would appreciate it too.

I have Spirit Guard Udyr but have never used the banner due to simply liking other icons more. Would really like to make use of them without having to put one of those icons on.

Have a free bump. I want to let people see my DJ Sona skin (I mean, the banner is pretty) but I want to use my Slay Belle Katarina Blade icon.

I really agree these should be separated out. In addition to the added individual customizability for those with ultimate skins, it also enables them to start rewarding or selling profile banners in a similar manner to icons, or as rewards for the upcoming Mastery system (HINT HINT).

okay so my opinion is that yes i would love to have the icon and preferred banner because then i would be boss lol jk anyway a hint is when you use disgusting or things like that it makes your statement or opinion looked down upon or sometimes stronger but i like that you made this pole ^^

It seems like an obvious thing.

There are dozens of icons, and only, what, 4 banners? And I only have 1 banner, so of course I want to show it off. . .and I want to show up some of the dozens of icons I have, too :(
