I thought i am lvl 30 to not play with lvl 24's anymore. and if that wasn't hard enough, the other team gets a diamond 5.

See all the unranked players? What was their previous ranks? That may give you/us a better picture.
That is surprising. It's a lot like when I was playing with some buddies while we were leveling him up. One Silver, three bronzies, and our newb who was level 14, he went top as Riven... ended up going against a Plat 1 Singed and got dumpstered all game. These are the evils of queue with massively disparate levels. The system tries to balance.
