I thought i am lvl 30 to not play with lvl 24's anymore. and if that wasn't hard enough, the other team gets a diamond 5.

edit: This was a Normal Draft, NOT a Teambuilder game

no, this was draft. i am shocked!!! as for ranks: cass- S5, aatrox- B3, Darius -B2 and I - S5 the other team: tf -B2 , irelia -B1, Rengar, Diamond5, Ez -S3 and Soraka - S3

There is zero equality. in a Normal Draft. I mean i play normals for fun but this is so skewed, there is no fun anymore!

I have been playing sense season 1 but do not play ranked because I don't have a 5man and I get a leaver 1/2 the time in solo queue. Do you really think me, with over 4k games played wants to play vs fresh 30's? No. I get matched constantly with players in Plat and Diamond and even a challenger once, and I want it to stay that way.

i agree. i dont mind playing with or against high elo. one learns a lot. I just dont wanna be placed with a lvl 24.

The only reason 30's get matched with below 30 players is because a 30 and a below 30 queued up together. There is no other way for riot to respond to this situation.

The only reason 30's get matched with below 30 players is because a 30 and a below 30 queued up together. There is no other way for riot to respond to this situation. instead of pulling the low level into a high level game, you could pull the paired up level 30 into the sub 30 game.

In any case I think you might have low normal mmr. I know it has been at least 2 years sense I got matched with anyone below 30.

This is the real question. I'd wager it was and the diamond player was playing an off-role champ.

Also bear in mind that ranked MMR has nothing to do with unranked mmr, so a diamond ranked player who has never played normals or teambuilder won't have a diamond mmr in those game modes.

this was normal draft. and yes, i get that there is a difference between ranked mmr and norms. still, i really dont want to play with people who arent lvl 30. i was glad when i got to 30. there is no reason to pair lvl 30's with lvl 24's. and if thats happening because of a duo or group or w/e, there should be a under lvl 30 on the other team as well. I dont want to lolking everyone every time to make sure that everyone is on the same level. thats boring and takes the joy out of the game.

The 24 was probably duoing with someone.

But if you don't WANT to lolking people, don't. I have never done so, not once... and I've never felt disadvantaged by not doing so either. I don't see any reason why anyone would EVER do so... if oyu're going to treat people differently based off of their lolking stats, then you're not taking the game seriously enough...

See all the unranked players? What was their previous ranks? That may give you/us a better picture.

That is surprising. It's a lot like when I was playing with some buddies while we were leveling him up. One Silver, three bronzies, and our newb who was level 14, he went top as Riven... ended up going against a Plat 1 Singed and got dumpstered all game. These are the evils of queue with massively disparate levels. The system tries to balance.

Were you part of a premade or joined the game that was a premade group?

i was solo. I mean i got shit mmr and am about 30-40 games in the minus (like 1634 wins and 1670 losses) but that really doesnt warrant getting paired with someone who is sub 30 and then against a Diamond and two mid silvers. Matchmaker is going to the dogs.
