Not playing with trolls is worse than TROLLING?

So my big thing is trolling. Whats worse than trolling? I just played a game as support bot. The Quinn I laned with fed the game to the tune of 2 and 13. Before I gave hope and realized she was deliberately feeding, I was 4 and 1 while she was 1 and 4. She dove tower against Blitz and Graves. She was ulted here and there. She wouldn't stay behind me, she wouldn't let me initiate, and at the end of the game (24 min) she had 62 cs.

I stop playing in lane with here. I told my team she was trolling and that graves was fed too far and staying in lane by myself would result in two deaths. I did wish to end the game as soon as possible. Why am I considered worse than the troll?

Imagine you are playing baseball and your pitcher is throwing underhanded to a great homerun hitter. I as the first base man say, "what the fuck are you doing?" The pitcher smiles at me and winks. Homeruns are getting smashed out of the park as I plead for someone to stop the insanity.

In the real world we would all beat the pitcher's ass and go home. But in LOL my team gets mad at me and threatens to report me for not continuing to play which will only make this sham of a game continue. Why is the troll not the bad guy? I am a GEN Xer so I know what it was like to pay money for games.

Help me out here. Why do so many people prefer to play with trolls and see anyone who reacts to the troll as the culprit?

I've gotten pissed off in the exact same situation before. I started to develop a habit of playing, through. Best case scenario, you carry your intentional feeder in roughly a 4v6. Worst case scenario, you get more experience on how to play at a huge disadvantage. The timer's ticking whether you're there or not, you mine as well get some practice in meanwhile.

You're far better than a troll, but there are some games you can carry (no matter how rare), so you're obligated (I think by the terms and conditions, actually) to play the game through.

I know how this feels, sometimes I find its better to keep my mouth shut most of the time in league unless your talking to a nice friend. Some of the reasons why I don't like going into games alone. I got reported for saying nothing but positive things to people. I don't know why.

Closed mouth gathers no foot. A small poster I read in school, had a lot of wisdom. People tend to like you more if you don't say anything at all.

Btw, awesome name. Isn't that like the term for like simplest correct answer being the right one? Not sure, been a while sense I learned that but i know I heard it sometime.

Honestly this person just seems to be really bad. If 2/13 is them intentionally feeding then it can be a lot worse. When it comes to this situation you never know if someone is really trying to feed or not, unless they are doing something like running revive/teleport and just dying as much as possible. The main reason people would rather continue playing then give up because of a troll (at least in ranked) is because no matter what something crazy might happen that helps you win. If the game ended at 24 mins then they just wanted to play until the surrender vote came up. I played a game that had an intentional feeder on the enemy team, but we still almost lost because my team was playing like garbage. I also one a game where my friends managed to get over 20 deaths by the end of laning phase without even trying to feed, and we managed to win despite the enemies having over 40 more kills than us. Most people just want to try at least until the surrender vote just because you never know what happens.

I was able to guilt a troll into actually contributing to the team he was trying to get me mad so i told him it's ok everyone just has bad games so he got so sad that i was being nice to him after what he did so he stopped trolling and then we won the game
