is the idea of a marksmen dead?

Hi thanks for looking at this post I like to be varied in my league playing I play the 3 lanes cant jungle but i really like marksmening, now I also play solo usually since I have tons of more free time than my friends, now I might just be uber unlucky in this but in my games i rarely see people helping the marksmen thats supposed to carry the team on our side, and ive seen it on the enemy side a few times.

this isnt just me whining its when i play a game no matter the lane ill see the support taking kills the adc was a single second from getting or ill see jungler using ult to grab a near death enemy when a shot from the marksmen was about to kill em, and only on a few occasions will i see people work to feed them so they can take on the team and be a real threat instead of just something we gotta watch out for and kill cuz there squishy.

not only that but i do see people just disrespect marksmen by having the whole team come down even tho the marksmen is failing or is 0/0 with less farm than there side or in the chat how the marksmen gets annoyed and the support and the enemy team put him down hell its happened to me on occasion. am i unlucky to see these games where marksmen is disrespected by his team and basically starved or is this just the way things are?

thanks for reading again wanna put emphasis on not complaining im just really curious since it seems to be a norm that the marksmen the adc the attack damage carry is fighting 3 v 1 or 5 v 1 with 2 people being on his side working against them and just making the role not fun to be.
